### Help us help you

Every API response carries an `X-Request-Id` header. Include it when reporting an issue — it turns "my scan failed yesterday" into an exact lookup on our side. Also include the endpoint, the `code` field from the error body, and a timestamp with timezone.

### Status of a request

Errors are always the HTTP status plus a body of `message`, `code`, and `docs_url`. The `message` is written to be actionable on its own; if it is not, that is a bug — tell us.
